Shuangxing Group, a state-owned enterprise with a history of 98 years (founded in 1921, headquartered in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao), primarily provides tyre products to customers and utilizes recycled materials from waste tyres.

The shredding, recycling and reuse of waste tyres have always posed challenges. The thick rubber coating and the high-hardness steel wires inside the tyres require the shredding equipment to have excellent wear resistance, hardness, and impact resistance. Additionally, the varying sizes of tyres often lead to blockages and accumulation in the existing dual-shaft rolling screen shredder, resulting in frequent downtime and increased equipment wear.

Shuangxing approached our company, hoping that we could optimize and modify their existing equipment based on the above issues and provide an efficient and seamless solution.

After understanding the customer's challenges, our technical team devoted significant effort to research. After numerous theoretical calculations and experimental verifications, we successfully developed a four-shaft tyre shredder. This machine incorporates a dual-tooth continuous feeding mechanism, an automatic opening and closing pressure adjustment mechanism, and highly wear-resistant and hard cutting blades. This solution effectively improves equipment capacity, reduces equipment wear, extends equipment life service, enhances tyre shredding and screening efficiency, and ensures uniform shredding.

The aforementioned technology is domestically innovative and has obtained a national invention patent with patent number ZL 2021 1 1482506.7.

After multiple tests and experimental verifications, the four-shaft shredder has shown excellent performance and received unanimous praise from the customer. It has been recommended by the Tyre Association and widely utilized in the production lines of several factories within the Shuangxing Group.
